I am Richard P. Nedlin, founder and lead attorney for the Law Office of Richard P. Nedlin, LLC. I am both dedicated and passionate about the practice of criminal defense law. Originally from New York, I received my law degree from New York Law School in 2002. I later moved to Colorado — a favorite destination since my youth — and worked as the deputy district attorney for the Ninth Judicial District Attorney Office in Aspen Colorado from 2007 to 2013. I bring my years of knowledge and experience to the practice of law . That experience gave me an insider's perspective on the other side of the court system, as I handled filings, hearings and trials in cases across the spectrum of felonies and misdemeanors. Because of my work as a deputy DA, I know how to negotiate with prosecutors. I know how they will approach your case, and how to build the strongest possible defense case for you.

A large part of my law practice is dedicated to serving clients who have been charged with a crime in Tucson, Arizona and the entire state of Colorado.  I frequently work with clients who have been charged with:

• Traffic infractions ranging from non-moving violations to vehicular homicide
• Allegations of domestic violence, including stalking, harassment, or violating a restraining order
• Assault and battery
• DUI and other intoxicated driving charges

In addition to my criminal law practice, I do assist Tucson clients with family law matters, which can include the development of a co-parenting plan, enforcing divorce orders, or drafting an order of protection against a threatening ex-spouse.
